## Description

What you will be working on:
You will join one of our software development teams as a Software Engineer to directly contribute to the success of our Stream Deck ecosystem.
- As a software engineer, you will be responsible for developing first party plugins for Stream Deck that work on the Windows and macOS platforms using TypeScript language on Node.js infrastructure.
- You will contribute to product development and ideation by working with product managers to define software requirements and scope of work.
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver high-quality software.
- You will develop tests to ensure software reliability and maintainability.
- You will participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure best practices are followed, while also debugging and troubleshooting complex software issues in a timely manner.
- You will optimize software performance and improve user experience.
- You will have the opportunity to explore the latest technologies while staying up to date with the latest desktop software development trends.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Informatics or comparable.
- You have at least three years’ experience in developing in TypeScript and for Node.js, HTML, and CSS knowledge is also required.
- Experience with C++ or Rust language is an advantage.
- Experience in working with various external APIs and integrations (e.g. Twitch, Slack, etc.) is a plus.
- Knowledge of common desktop software integration approaches is also a strong advantage.
- Good knowledge of common development tools (e.g. VS Code, Jira, Confluence, Git, GitLab CI/CD).
- Familiarity with Elgato products, particularly Stream Deck family of devices is beneficial.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English.
We are looking for a Software Engineer to strengthen our software development team in Munich. You will bring your creativity, ingenuity, and full skill set to develop, enhance and maintain first-party plugins that connect Stream Deck to the apps, services, and tools powering the workflows of creators worldwide.
